Looking in a different dimension,
I stood there seeking attention.
My eyes darting in all directions,
Alas, I could not find any affection.
Along came a sacred soul,
With a promise not all can make,
To keep me happy and to keep me safe,
To make me snappy and to make me gay.
He carried me away to another dimension,
Where another person, filled with tension,
On seeing me, beamed and made the same promise to me.
Then she took me in her arms,
And looked my in the eyes
And proclaimed, "What a beautiful child, our child".
